Combination pets, humor and Nature...

Did his Job, Again!

Went to sleep did I at eight,

Got high and couldn’t see straight,

Some sleep I did need as well my head did pound,

At eleven Rufuz did bark,

Awaking me with a start,

From my dreamland world back to reality so stark…

He again did do his job,

Got his biscuit stopping someone from trying to rob,

Security did remove the person and sent him packing,

All because Rufuz was on the job never slacking…

I can leave open my door, just my screen with Rufuz behind,

People think, oh that person is not at home, his door left unlocked,

Little do they know that Rufuz is right inside in the dark,

Never does he leave that door uncovered, there he always is ready to block…

He probably also had an ulterior motive,

A walk he did want, had to do his business,

Needed to go out and pee like a locomotive,

Stepped out the door, the air like late fall,

Crisp and clean, no campfire smells,

Rufuz loving the cooler weather is happy as hell,

Truly the summer is over, the coolness has come, the fall has fell…

Rufuz is a hero! I hereby proclaim September 12th as National Rufuz to the Rescue Day. He deserves another reward besides the doggie biscuit. Give him a big hug and smoothie for me.
