Fellowship of Poets…

We already do know it,

We are all fellows and fellowettes,

We belong to one international club,

We do not need to have anyone sub…

Our poetry does abound,

Our opinions know no bounds,

Some of us from sitting down,

Do become just about quite round…

I think we should have ourselves this club,

That for the most part is the general rub,

Of this poem I make herein for our poets club,

Never would we, with new poets trying to join, snub…

Our declaration would be one of simplistic behavior,

We only expect that you would write at least one poem about our savior,

Unless of course your name is one like Xavier,

Then you would be allowed to be stricken from the roles of forced behavior…

Wish do I that my name was that of Xavier,

I hate being forced to act behaved,

Rather do I like to be totally depraved…

Your club doesn't have any of that hazing stuff, does it, Eddie M? I'd have to pass on that! (grin) ok, ok... you could probably get me to go barefoot at 2 AM in a rainstorm... but that's IT! Always thinking, aren't you? hehe.. katy xox.

Ed, I've heard about the Dead Poet's Society--there might as well be one for those of us who are still lucky enough to be alive!

I'm somewhere between depravity and the robot world you describe, but leaning toward depravity... fun write!

Yes, Ed, dear post, even depravity has its place in the cosmic scheme of things. Much enjoyed!
