A Misunderstood Lunatic

His life … if you care to know … was like a cloud of smoke
A swirling haze that seemed in no hurry to dissipate

The fury ... of his existence was like ...
A veritable derision of life itself
Yet life clung to him like ...
                                 A
n inflated c
urse
                                     A man ...
                                S
o easy to h
ate
                           So impossible t
o ignore
                            Like a
repugnant haze
                                   That
                       No pinprick could penetrate

His life w
as shrouded ...
      I
n the thin fog ...
           Of his i
ndecipherable psyche
All around him … an aura swelled
                       Like a whoop of vulnerability
                             A m
ystique
                                O
ften
                       Perceived a
s l
unacy

About just one thing, his fans & cynics a
greed.
The more you think you k
new him ...
The less you really knew him
                  And ...
            A desire to p
enetrate this myth
              Became their common goal

Yet his life was like a dour billow …
Over which the sun never seems to shine

                           But ...
                   About his mind
              No one knew a thing
         Gashed ... alive ... brilliant
                     His mind
                        Was
             Their judgement seat

Another brilliant penning...lunatic notwithstanding. The
world's greatest writers, artists, and composers were all
lunatics. And how grateful we are for that! For, through
their sufferings, we reaped the rewards of some of the
grandest artistic pieces in the history of mankind.
Thank you for adding yours.
