Music "That silver haired Daddy of mine”

“Dark Night”

It was a dark night

With no star lights above

Holding your hand in mine

All I could hear

Was the roaring of the ocean!

I met with my only true love…”Nature” tonight

~**~**~**~

Mother Nature so dear to me

~**~**~**~

I swear

I will be nobody’s slave

For as long as I may live

As cold winds blow upon my only true love

A few drops of rain fall’ upon me

Oh she had wet my feet as she struck me

Brushing her shoulder upon the sand

No words were spoken

No vows were broken

In this dark night

With no stars lights above

~**~**~**~

Holding your hand in mine

And within my imagination

I see you standing there

As you sang to me

And made the words sound so sweet

I started to weep

~**~**~**~

May God protect you dear One

Where ever you may wander

And I will sail upon the sea

On wings of wind so fare

To a place where only you…

And sunshine await’ I swear

I will be nobody’s slave

As I await your return

Standing alone

On this dark night

With no star lights above

~**~**~**~

Tinka,

Don't know how I missed this masterpiece my friend - you are the poetess of the beautiful imagery; so vivid and descriptive as to place the reader in the poem - perfection!!

Best wishes,

Robert

Yes! another wonderful poem Tinka

love the sea, on a windy night
allow her to plash, upon my feet
as we walk along,
the sand, our feets will meet.
