*
As long as there is breath in my lungs,
As long as my heart continues to beat,
As long as blood circulates in my veins,
I'll write until I'm covered with a sheet.
*
As long as my Muse still inspires me,
As long as my fingers curl 'round a pen,
As long as someone takes the time to read,
I'll write, because I love writing poems.
*
As long as someone encourages me,
As long as I still love the written word,
As long as I have the passion to write,
I'll write even if my voice isn't heard.

You spoke for all of us true writers. We have to write even if we know no one will read. It is a sad and lonely existence at times, especially if we are too wrapped up in it to not let people we love and who love us inside our hearts. I made that mistake onec, never again.
