Mike hated himself and told others so,
still he continued to prosper and grow.
He had a lot of anger and frustration,
which came from his childhood relation.
Life beat him pretty bad when he was young,
now he's an angry adult high strung.

In the ring he is very violent to opponents,
at times biting and ripping off their components.
He felt nothing queer,
when he tried to bite off an opponents ear.
Now he's broke and in debt,
full of sorrow and regret.
Once on top of the world,
mind on a self hate swirl.

Life and others will always
try to beat us down,
It's up to us to love ourselves enough
to stay off the ground.
Hating oneself is as about as low
as we can go.
I should know,
I use to feel the same way,
until I woke up one day.
When I learned to be
more positive and love myself
regardless of lifes beating down,
It became more enjoyable
to exist abound.

As I reflect back on me,
surely it is Mike that I see.
I understood my plight,
worked hard to make it right.
There's no more wasted love in me,
my soul now runs hate free.
Life is surely more fun,
after learning too
love number one.
