We have to keep our relationships with the world and its peoples as nice as we can...sorry to tell you this in non-poetic form, but I just felt the need to say something about this good thing...ed

A Karmic Night…

Last night I drove home from my job,

With as little as one quarter tank of gas,

Arrived home and just about drifted into my drive,

Was not unhappy, at least I did get home, I did not sob…

A next-door neighbor then just gave me twenty bucks,

No questions asked, nor did I tell him of my shortage,

Then this afternoon, another neighbor just gave me ten more,

No one knew how broke I was, I actually cried till I was sore…

I went out and bought gas and some food,

Then as I walked out of the store,

A man sitting in a car with tears,

Asked if I could help him out?

I said I would try, does he need a jump or repair?

He had fixed his car the night before,

Spending all his cash, boy I knew that feeling,

So I gave him the remaining 5 dollars from my two windfalls…

You know what goes around comes around,

This will come back to me eventually or not,

Either way I feel extra special tonight,

I may be totally broke again,

But I am happy about the way it happened…

An act of selfless, compassionate kindness is its own reward... our mother's taught us that... they were never so right! Your inner light is beaming right from your words. I've never read you so positive. It isn't about having money, it's about discovering the best in ourselves. I'm goosebumpy. katy xox.

I salute you, my compassionate and noble friend. And you are truly wise, too. What goes around - comes around. Too bad far more folks don't feel and act as you do; the world would truly be a far better place.

Keep On, Keepin On!
