A Challenge

I thought it might be fun to try to incorporate as many of the words listed below, as you can, into either a poem or short story. You can change the word to fit in, i.e. motorcycle can be changed to motorcyclist or motorcycling, etc. I have not even tried to do this yet, so the rest of you may very well beat me at my own game. Have fun!

So far, I have written a short story using 32 of these words That was the easy part, the hard part is going to be using the remaining words in a poem. ;)

I finally got the poem done..whew, remind me not to try to do my own challenges...LOLOLOLOL


These are all compound words or words that often go together.  Try to use at least 5, but the more you can use and keep the poem/story cohesive, the better.


Words:
post office, shoelace, snowball, servicemen, waterwheel, box top, underground, freeway, soda pop, ice cube, bluegrass, sun glasses, rim shot, heartbreak, High School, sand dune, checkbook, bow tie, foggy night, flip-flop, moneymaker, icebox, lipstick, roller coaster, tap dance, brick wall, saddle shoes, paperclip, blue-eyed, sandbox, hollow log, riverbank, hotdog, sawdust, bad boy, eye glasses, donut hole, all night, sunset, stardust, motorcycle, empty heart, pop top, cockfight, spider bite, hokey-pokey, meatball, high stepping, motorboat, black eye
