that distant shore

my ship does sail to a distant shore
across The Ocean to a land i've never known before
a distant place, a time in space
my ship does race
forever more
to a far off place
named Never More

it's sails set high
they reach the sky
my ship does fly
through space & time
beyond reason and rhyme
my ship sails forever more
seeking that distant shore
the one i've never known before

across the Sea
across Life's Ocean
lost in the motion
of each wave
to Life's emotion
forever it's slave
forever to Be
in search of Me
seeking Reality

through storm & calm
through rain & pain
through each of Life's Hurricane
i pray a psalm
through sunlight
and moonlight
i pray to sight
to Be
on that distant shore
there in Life's Daylight
forever more

my ship does sail to a distant shore
seeking Life evermore, evermore
until my voyage does end
and Life does say, Life does send
the Truth...never more, never more

at last
upon that distant shore
my Life has past, it's die is cast
for evermore, for evermore
there upon that distant shore
where i have never been before
