Boycott Bush

no taxes for anything
but war
no taxes for my
grandmother’s medicine
nothing for her social
no taxes for Medicare
or Medicaid
and drug suppliers get rich.

no mandate
for these changes,
just greed.
like the Mafia,
the rich know where
our money is,
and they’ll take
each penny,
privatizing pensions,
puncturing our dreams.

but putrid policies
can be blasted,
just hit ‘em
where they hurt,
their solar plexus
gutted, they’ll
listen to our

don’t spend a penny,
on their blasted schemes:
give up your
new car,
new toy,
new TV.
sit back and see,
don’t buy anything.
this year.

Boycott Bush
and all his neocons.
we don’t have
to take it,
if the half with courage
buckles down.
Don't get mad,
get even.
Boycott Bush.

Larry, I sympathize with you, but like it or not Bush is our president now. I voted for Kerry, but Bush won and he deserves another chance to make things better. Yes, consarn it, he won the popular vote. But that popularity hinges on what he does today and every single day after. Hopefully, he'll get the message that the country is divided and be conciliatory. Hopefully, he won't eliminate overtime as a tax break for his coporate butt-buddies. Me, I'll be happy if he can make a speech without misdispronunciating any wordies.

I am glad to see you have matured beyond 5 years old, Larry. Like him or not, Bush received the popular vote as well as the electoral, so the majority has spoken. Isn't that supposed to be what your party believes in, majority rule?...or does that only come into play when you get your own way? Personally, I am glad that the people were wise enough to not allow a Socialist into the White House. If you don't like Bush, blame your own party for not offering a better candidate, or is it possible that they didn't have anyone the American people would feel comfortable with?
Take care,

I wish the wars to end, but it is highly unlikely now.
