I wear my jeans about two inches too long
and walk around with my sneakers untied
You want someone to brighten your world.
I throw my hair up as messily as possible
because it's sexy and the bedhead thing is in
You want someone to hold in bed.
I wear shoes that make me two inches taller
and like to chew my gum at the dinner table
You want someone to make you dinner again.
I listen to my music much too loud
and often drive too fast
You want someone to make you feel again.
I sleep in a pair of socks on warm nights
and my bedroom slippers have sesame street characters
You want someone to wake up to.
I smile when the world around me is serious
and laugh when people think the end has come
You want someone to hold your hand.
I throw popcorn at the bad guys in a movie
and dance in the rain after dark
You want someone to watch you while you sleep.
I laugh a little too easily, cry a little too readily
I've fallen in love with you too quickly
You want someone to love you.
