Mamma don't cry

I forgive you

For the day

You took my life.

I'm happy in Heaven Mamma.

Jesus is with me,

I watch the angels dance Mamma

And hear you cry all the time

You didn't know then

That it was murder

You were scared

And did what you thought was best.

Don't cry Mamma

I love you

Even if you weren't sure

You could love me.

Naked and disturbing: the truth where it hurts. This is my biggest intercessory grief - for the unborn life lost, and for those left to deal with their pain and confusion. Compassion and not judgement is the way forward - but our progressive society sure has lost its way in its desire to shape-shift truth. Our "morality" is moulded by the laws set for us. Perhaps you might like to take a look at my poem "On Psalm 139" which is also about baby-loss. You are indeed very courageous and powerful in your pen, Michelle. TY for this. Kate xx
