Putting as many poems of my mothers on now, even though some are depressing. She wrote them, and I think the readers should see them.

They say Santa comes
To good little girls and boys,
Not to cranky old hags like me,
But he didn't come to see me when
I was a good little girl either.

Dated 3/4/1983

I just commented on another of your mother's poems. This one hits one deep with so few words. There is power in this simple statement. How sad.
Thanks for sharing.
