A Repost

You ask me how I am.
You have only time for "fine."
Sometimes when that's too much
You pass and make a sign.
Your hand goes up and waves
Our eyes meet, just a glance.
So, today I'll tell THE TRUTH
And watch the ritual/dance.

Why thank you so for asking.
My head is simply throbbing!
My lover walked away.
For two days I've been sobbing.
I'm broke, the rent is due.
Know a good place for robbing?

The heartbreak of Psoriasis
Has taken quite a toll.
Oh, wait! Don't leave! Not now!
I've just begun to roll!

My 6 year old has hives.
My daughter's hair is blue.
I should be home in bed...
Don't get too close: The Flu!

Oh, dear, where are my manners?
Are you ok? I'll wait.
Now tell me, how are you?
Oh, dear.. must run... I'm late!

This puts me in mind of when people ask me the same question, I usually ask them "if they have an hour or so and a couch...?" It is funny, that when someone asks how you are, they only expect the positive, never do they expect the worst...LOL! Ed & rufuz
