Does it matter

What they call this monster?

That eats at you slowly

Like an enemy invading

A foreign land?

Does it matter

How hard you fight

Or how often you cry?

Does it matter

That you live

The best life

Yes it matters

The stronger you are

The weaker the monster is

As long as you don't let it invade your

It can't win.

So true, Michelle; and no, it doesn't matter! As long as they see you for you, and not WHAT you are or what you have, then the world would be a much better place! Great message in this powerful write; well done! BRAVA!
