"Take Me"

Take me to the water

Take me to the sea

Take me where ever

And set me free

Just donít leave me here

Where hope and smiles and joy are gone

Take me to the water

Take me to the shore

Take me with you forever more

To this life I no longer relate

When love and hate became fate

On ocean waves I will find rest

My only wish and last request

Remember all the good in me

And donít forget to set me free

When you feed me to the sharks

Drop one gentle tear upon my chest

And forget about regret

Just take me to the water

Take me to the sea

Make one last promise

To never leave me here

Take me to the shore

Please donít cry anymore

Because from this moment

God will set us free

Tinka, this is a well crafted poem of hopelessness; which I hope, like the others have asked, is just poetry. I think you need a balloon ride to cheer you up. Hope all is well? ~ Sara

Whatever the intent of this poem, I hope that whatever pain you, or another may (or may not, might be just your musings)be going through, that you (or them) can work through it. I think you are a great writer, and have learned much from you. Thank you for sharing this.
