A Christmas wish should not be given lightly
In light of what it represents, but my heart is
Open to you all, having seen its inner workings as
A series of lines across the walls of this Den, a
Door that I did not open willingly, but you showed
Me, through words in kind, that it is okay to dream.
So many have encouraged me here, strangers at first
But linked by a common bond, that elusive desire to
Express the things we think and feel, you have made
Me do both through many faceted expressions of
Multihued works that still linger, lasting impressions
At the center of who I am, and who I was.
I make this wish to all who dwell here, the dreamers
From cyberspace that have found the courage to step
Inside this magical forge of an ancient art, where once
I wandered lost and uncertain before my peers, who
Quickly became my friends, in your total acceptance
Of my fledgling attempts at the written word.
May your Inner Light always guide you,
May you never fall along the way,
May you always know I walk beside you,
My wish for you come Christmas day.
