Turning the other cheek, an example worth following whenever possible. It's better in the long run.

No way can I follow,
I'm only a human
more hollow.
It's very hard to turn
the other cheek,
especially during an
angry streak.
It's the wise thing to do,
to change the color blue.

but the more I turn,
the less I burn.
The heat of the flame,
becomes more tame.
The long term results,
is better than the
short term insults.

Overall I can see,
that turning is
better for me.
Still there's a need
to slap,
but now I know it's
only crap.
The example leading,
is wisdom I be needing.

Am I man enough
to follow,
or do I remain
more hollow?

In the short run, turning the other cheek is not always that easy, but in the end it is a personal victory. Good writing, Grady.
Take care,

Your wisdom is still intact Grady, we can but try,
give it our best, and to Him leave the rest! Happy New Year!
