Your past is important, but not nearly as important to your

present, as the way to see your future ~ T Campolo

Virginal Wave

Sea filled with shadows of yesterday

Fathoms below virginal waves

Out with the tides, then back to the shore

All that was lost.....and all that was bore

Sea filled with power under the moon

Clasping the shore, in calm and in ruin

Endless horizons archive the ages

Wave scrolling foam......ink without pages

Sea is the mother....sea is the grave

Requiem mass or babe's serenade

Liberty beckons before the abyss

Plunging the depths......after the.....kiss

Bapitzing dreams, christen the flow

Ripple by ripple, row after row

Hallowed in duty, purged by the shift

Passage of cycles......cradle the drift

Sea washing yesterday under the sky

Innocent, reckless, alluring and sly

Always embracing, at times to the brink

Follow sea shadows....follow and sink

Here's To The New Year

And

New Beginnings

Peace To All

Smooth Sailing

Float Gently

Pax

NO SINKING!

You pulled me right into this poem, Anita. This is absolutely beautiful. I was adrift in your verses as your words painted a mural of images in my mind. Poetry just doesn't get any better than this. You are an amazing talent. Happy New Year!

Sigh, I love the way you write... you so effortlessly draw me in, let me float among your words and gentle rhymes... I have always been fascinated with the sea. It is her nature to do as she does, without malice, as she will.

She crashes and she lulls... and you have written that with your seemingly wise and worthy pen. Oh, to peek inside your head... and see your heart. Wonderful piece, Anita. katy xox.

Fantastic poem Anita. I have always seen water as Earth's blood, the oceans her veins. If it were not for the ocean, life would not exist. It, like this poem is very powerful.

I wish you a Happy New Year. ~ Sara

Sea is the mother....sea is the grave

I believe she truly is, and this is a marvelous poem, and once again we are on a similar wave length with past and present - fascinating.
A marvelous quote and enjoyable music, too, Anita.

Fantastic write, fantastic message... I'm cast adrift for sure to archive the past and to engage with the future - whilst always living in the now! The tranquility of the picture and music is sublime - are these still your wonderful Irish influences abounding?! I could immerse myself here forever - baptized, rather than sunk!! Especially love the lines: "Endless horizons archive the ages Wave scrolling foam... ink without pages". New beginnings with tomorrow's dawn for each and every day in 2005, Anita. Thanks for being such a bud this year - luvya! Kate xx
