Two new categories for me in two days...

Always remember to stop and smell the flowers…

Sure we have trepidations regards this coming year,

Some of us including yours truly do also have fear,

So many things can go wrong, so many chances for a tear,

But remember to stop along the way and smell the flowers…

Let us not worry about upcoming events,

Too many of us find reason for laments,

Does it make to you or I any real sense?

To worry and stress over the things we cannot circumvent…

Beleaguered we may be,

For our future we cannot see,

Let us try, yes you and me,

To be more this year, anxiety free…

If I can do it, so can you,

If you can do it, so can I,

We are but mere human souls,

We are here to accomplish many goals,

But in our lives we do not need to poke holes,

Let us while we do on this earth exist,

Forget the past and for the future persist…

OH, this is a goodie! It's amazing how "contagious" positive thinking can be... no sense fast-forwarding, since it's through our choices that the future is shaped. Life's an adventure... let's peek around every corner, try to understand all we can and accept and embrace what is different from us... Time to color our worlds, Eddie M. Wheeeeeeee... thank you for this one! (smile) katy xox.

I agree with Kate and yes I will stop and smell the roses. This year I am going to replant the tree that was destroyed by fire in 1997. It was a grand living Christmas tree. Thanks for a great write Ed.
