Both my (w)holes changed over the years, at times they both cause me pain and tears. As a person I've fought to be whole, then I fought to keep a living hole. At age 54 I'm finally done, my bad and my good side one.
Many years I couldn't face me all, then one day bad came to call. I quit running from the fool, then learned to use him as a tool. Bad knows who's boss, he helps maintain to prevent a total loss.
The hole I live in is my home, I work hard to maintain my dome. All of us know the deal, we got to fight the devils appeal. He'll bring down the (w)hole house, because he's an evil louse.
All for one, one for all.
G

Dear G,
Sage words indeed ! Yes, we do have to fight the devils appeal, sometimes it does look like the easier route, but it's NOT.

When I see "hole" I think of the one Saddam Hussein was captured in.
Imagine a billinaire self-made king/tyrant of a country, being reduced to hiding in a hole in the ground. That's why Grady you make sense, leave the devil to fill up his own w/holes;-)Another sage one by the G-man!;-) |

:) You never fail to help ground your readers in your optimism and 'wholly' wonderful outlook on life, Grady.

Interesting contrast between the two words and how they also compliment one another. We are all responsible for our whole as well as the hole in which we dwell. Sometimes reassessment is in order for both. Nice work!
Take care,

| The thing is my house did burn down around us and blew my husband out but then we got a better one. What did he succeed at? Liked the write though and I am 56. No matter how old you are it is hard to get past this sort of thing. |
