...Well, at least by now you know what's coming! Do tell me if you have had enough of these - otherwise there could be another two or three... LOL Kate xx

ARTIST'S MODEL 3

Her cast-off clothes -
timeless perennials of
boyish, faded denim -
lay across his bed
like memories of
a childhood lost

He dressed her instead
with fresh robes of his vision:
the organza of his gaze;
the gossamer thread of his creative thoughts

He painted her regal on silk
and signed his portrait in ink:
"Your Admirer"

Smiling her acceptance
she rolled and sealed it
in the crushed velvet
of her heart

This is good. I could even see more of it, it makes the reader intrigued, always a good thing to keep us wondering rather than smothering in useless words and you showed that here- great job!

I am truly at a loss to find the right words to describe this work of love. I want and feel like I am a voyuer watching from the shadows as this story unfolds. No, it is not enough, bring on the beauty until it reaches it's own natural conclusion, I will be watching...
