Take this serious or don't, but there's more to this world than what meets the eye. Keep in mind the category of science fiction.

A race so advanced,
duplicating so romanced.
Creating clones in their image,
became apart of their homage.
We were created long ago,
but in all the years we won't grow.

This earth we live on was fabricated,
also a clone from the creators initiated.
Violent and uncontroled,
we are constantly being patrolled.
Studied and watched for improvement,
so be prepared for the movement.

The God's of our creation,
almost have us marked for elimination.
In their infinite hope,
sooner or later we'll learn to cope.
They left our destruction up to us,
but we're doomed to fail their trust.

I remember a movie with this same theme in mind. "The Day The Earth Stood Still." I have wondered these same things.

I've always felt if some far more advanced intergalactic race does watch us from afar, they must truly believe we are beyond hope since we never do seem to progress very far towards peace and harmony with our fellow men. We may be doomed, which is a very sobering thought.
