The Magic When Evenings Done
Lonely pines silhouetted against an ever changing sky,
wrapped in the enchanting colorful wisp of clouds passing by.
Shades of rose madder mingled with cerulean blue
mixing and fusing, into a shade of violet hue.
Oh what magic did this nightfall bring,
as I from umber hilltop did so softly sing.
Sending forth my voice in praise did I,
into that unbelievably astounding
Oh what a beautiful day this has been,
I heard my spirit say as it spoke from within.
Oh, and to culminate it all
I was able to bare witness
To this colorful magic
when evening did fall.
