Lonely Text Message

just a few words
flung to the heavens
just an emotion
sent to a friend.

mistake sent a-trembling
lost for an instant
shouldn’t have sent it
regret not an option.

if she receives it
it’s over for me
new issues selected
my blunder… and how.

wonderful creatures
damned by the cell phone
hurried up feelings
galactic concussion.
