Nothing like love of all types, but during the years it kind of wears a person out.
I still hold love exemplified,
and remain most dignified,
but love has did its share,
to add to my lifes dispair.
Love hasn't failed to do its part,
people have sliced love apart.
Forked tongues spoken,
can leave a loving heart choking.
Some fly love like a flag,
then pull their tricks out of the bag.
With their flag still flying,
anothers heart down dying.
I wouldn't change loves name,
I would crush the phony game.
Oh, the games people play,
destroying others in phony say.
Love stands most dignified,
I stand quite horrified.

|Great poem G! It is a shame how we mangle the one
thing we all claim to want so much, and use it to
get our way, or abuse , or destroy, the very
opposite of what love is suppose to mean. It is
a puzzlement! The sad thing is that most people
really don't know what love is.

You know, as well as I, that I caanot pass by your poems without commenting, for I still think you are a nice guy...
Wonderful poem with a well-expressed message. I hope the dark clouds will go away from you very soon, and you'll be back to your happy-self again. Still adoring my wonderful poet of the den!

|Unfortunately, many play 'love games' and there usually aren't too many winners.|
