Whether man or beast, and despite our differences, each of us searches for the same sensation. To be held by another. To be loved.

Along the way to my destination
I found a sumptuous man.
And as I walked right next to him
he held out a cautious hand.
In it I felt the greatest sensation
a peace like Iíve never known
It was then I knew that I was loved
It was then, that I was home.

A marvelous poem, Sara. The simple things are usually the best, and the most craved for. I love that picture!

Damn! I don't know about Lisa but I understand completely what you are saying and the only thing I'll say is, "Atta boy, girl."

Sara, As a child, I was taught to trust, until the one I had placed trust with, was found to be something less than what I first believed. Still today I live by those guidelines. Only now..I'm able to balance the difference between physical and emotional turbulence.
We as humans, have an overwhelming need to be loved, cared for, pampered and (pardon the pun) danced with, in order to be able to cope with every day life.
If one is not stable and strong minded, they tend to let the hand of deception massage their emotional needs to the point of becoming nothing more than a facade.
There are times when feeling good, is not all that is required. We have to know when to pull our hand away..
I'm glad that you feel safe and secure...for we both know that there are those that never will be.

Isn't it a shame that even pats on the back in the workplace are so often mistaken for someone whose intentions are less than honorable. I think our society is over-regulated because people feel they have to have a law to be everything except human.

Hugs all around and around and around!
blessin's on this Sara,
