"Existing if flickeringly / Between to be and not to be / A life lived existentially"

Transcendental Sonnet #1234:

An Existential Song Upon the Tongue

When I was young it was thought cool

To use the word "existential"

Now that I am no longer young

But an old fool fundamental

Now no mere word the whole song sung

And all of my life left to me

Existing if flickeringly

Between to be and not to be

A life lived existentially

Existence is hard for a broken shard

Intended to live fast and to die young

And leave behind a handsome corpse of course

Bankruptcy madness poetry divorce

An existential song upon the tongue

It's hard but oh so sweet to exist in your passion.

Summed up well here...
(Existing if flickeringly
Between to be and not to be
A life lived existentially)

Yet another splendid sonnet, thanks.
