I wrote this some time ago and refers to the area I lived in at the time the police helicopter was always hovering around the neighbourhood and was extremely distracting. Contains strong language.

Flying Eye

Mr eye in the sky

                           I wish you’d

                                               fuck off and die

       hovering round

                                       like a demented fly

prying into peoples lives

                                                 making us believe

 we’re supposed to be safe

when we know it’s not the case

             heroically fighting crime

                                                     at our expense

  when our only crime

                                        is to be poor

          So, go on!

                         Fuck Off!

                                      hover round

                                                          someone else’s door.
