A poem using just the letters in my name. An interesting little challenge; thanks, Michelle! :)

What's exactly in a name?
Care to join me in this game?

K--Kindhearted

A--Artistic

R--Reflective

E--(Extremely) Emotional

N--Nice

L--Lovable (at times!)

Y--Yearning

N--Not one to give up that easily

Thanks for the challenge; it was fun to do~
And I hope that you enjoy reading it, too!

Thanks for reading, "Angels" I think you understated by quite
a stretch here on the "Lovable." Gonna see about giving this a shot.

Nice self-definition. Acrostic, too, is a nice word (I've come across it once though I'm not absolutely sure what it means. But let me take it means everything which is nice in an unconventional way, and that's certainly what you are {and the poem, too]).
Regards + best wishes

Though I'm giggling madly over Andy's silliness down there (grin) I have enjoyed reading your "self-portait", indeed. May I whisper in your ear, between you and me, it's a shame there isn't a "T" in your name... so I could add the word "thoughtful"... because I think you are that. Above it all, your "K" is true. (smile) Thanks, Karen... katy xox.

Gotta love Andy's response - all too true!!?? This is a delightful idea and both Michelle's instigation and others' responses have been wonderful. You are JUST as I imagine you to be from your writes, Karen; and Karla also, although you must be very different in lots of ways, too. You have struck home at my weak point: I have always been too afraid to look at who and what I am! I have always left it to others to decide that for me - sad, but true!! Is there an "H" in my name?! At least I know I'm honest!! Thank you for this enlightening and warming challenge and write. You're a pleasure to know! Bless you, Tornado!! LOL Kate xx
