Written for a fellow poet.

Wading through the waters of my daydreams
I come upon a priceless treasure
Awe inspiring, so exquisite it makes me gasp
and then enrapt, stare with childlike wonder
Droplet of dew upon a parched tongue
Gentle touch for starved skin
Coruscating light dispelling darkness
Illumination, Inspiration
Revelation

This is your gift!

Thanks to all of you who responded to this poem. So many of you offer me inspiration and I am grateful.
