can't stand

alone

with out
U-God;

i'm not
that strong

so hear
me out
this one
last time

2

get it
out this
pain and
guilt and
set me
free of
er rors

done so
self ish
ly as
time moves
on. . .

please don't
leave me
all a
lone to
bear this
pain please
don't be
gone a
far from
here just
rescue now

one cure
one call
just show
me how

for this
time God
my plea
to thee
is for
the one
whose love
you see

kind a
rare sweet
find
please make
him whole
his ill
ness bind

i ask
You God
don't take
too long
if in
Your Will,
don't take
him Home.

Good in both words and presentation. Thank you, C.
And thank you for your note. I'll get back to you. Swamped by my own mind, now.

I agree with Janet. If this doesn't do it, nothing will. Very moving. This reminded me of a Sara McLaughlin song - can't think of the name but it reduces me to sobs every time I hear it - she's praying that he man will wake to see another day. Now I'm going to have to go track down the CD and get the name. Great song. And this poem was as touching.

Thanks Cynth'ya and I agree on getting out the message about this cancer that is also becoming epidemic. My husband's last test showed he is fine but it is important to get this message out. I am a cervical cancer survivor and often find that this cancer does not receive as much attention as it should. They can slso find information on http;//www.cancerorg.com

Oh Cynth'ya, if this doesn't raise awareness nothing will! You wrote this so well. A friend from high school recently found out he has prostate cancer. I am praying like crazy for him.
