The Girl who had everything
by Audrey Coatesworth

This is a short story about a girl who had everything but is restless and, basically, unhappy. A poor girl who has apparently nothing, teaches her and her parents by exam..

Humor...? Or just something to keep my doing something...

Keeping me busy…

The next to the last word in the dictionary,

Never do I wish to appear contrary,

I just wish to be for all to see so merry,

Zucchini does not mix well with dairy…

The fifth word at the beginning of the Oxfords,

Not to make you feel here in anyway quite bored,

But my muse has seemingly gone the way of the Edsel,

Built I do believe and lost to the company of Ford,

What does this poem have to do with the long snouted aardvark?

Who said it did, I just write them, as I have said, I don’t understand them…?

The first word in my thesaurus,

Is anything but a tyrannosaurus,

Has nothing to do with Nereus’ wife, Doris,

It does however mean to relinquish or desert,

My brain today has become quite inert…

The last word in my thesaurus,

Meaning an area, province or section,

A place known for misconception,

A spot on the body of man given to erection,

At least that is what I do remember from my recollection…
