Thanks to Ed K for the inspiration herein...

Abused by…

He bites me and grabs at me,

He drags me around the house with his teeth,

He bites and attacks my feet,

He crouches down then tries to drop me on the ground…

He won’t let me walk,

He makes me slip on the ice,

Nothing he does is quite very nice,

He yells at me a lot; never does he just talk…

He sleeps in my bed,

Taking up the whole thing,

He puts his nose up at the food I do serve,

He certainly has got a great deal of nerve…

He won’t pull his fair share,

Just sits around all day and sleeps,

Expecting to be fed, expecting me to him, keep,

He does expect his back to be scratched when he wants,

The car we do own is not mine; it is his Jeep,

Then when it needs repair, I get to pay for it, boy is he ever cheap…

Do you think this is enough abuse?

For me to report to someone how he does treat me like his moose,

I carry him out of the ocean; I chase the birds and squirrels for him,

All he does to thank me is bite me on the hand,

Sometimes I do think of wrapping his head in a noose…

I am and will be forever, I am most willingly sure,

                                                                          Abused by Rufuz…

LOL this is hilarious. They say, seek out that which a poet doesn't say for you will learn much... it's obvious, even though you didn't mention it once, that you adore Rufuz, as he does you. If that's a picture of him, he's a stunning creature. Canine eye candy.

Ed, my two mutts just left the room - in a terrible huff after reading this. I think they're up to something - be careful.

PS They've had me sleeping on the floor for months now - I think a World Dog Domination Plot is quickly evolving - Be afraid; be very afraid.
