|Superb, Retta, a rocks me to the core. I can hardly bear to comment, beyond being able to both sympathises and empathise with every syllable that your eloquent pen has written here with such luminous clarity and sensitivity - but immense consuming passion, too. This type of love is what I have been asked to think about for my college work (over and beyond icebergs, which is SUCH a relief!!): "passion in extremis" where the intensity is such that it causes a metamorphosis of the persons experiencing it, becoming almost mythical in its effects. You have got the tension just right, describing the love that liberates rather than curtails; releases whilst at the same time protecting. Just gorgeous, thank you. Kate xx|
