Just... something I was feeling and needed to write down.

You seem to be this restless wind
that I just need to follow

This desperation that I've felt
I can no longer seem to swallow

So I will simply linger here
just watching where you go

And asking nothing more of you
Than just to let me know

Where the breeze will lead you
And what you think you'll find

For I'll be waiting anxiously...
The one you've left behind

Yes, I'll be waiting thoughtfully,
With you upon my mind...

Jeff, only a person with a heart, tender feelings, and the most discerning eye would consider stationing themselves, to do this, in patients, it also speaks of the warmth that must flow your heart, for others, a poem that eases it self into others, and also instructs, Al

Dear Jeff,

I'm in a poetic mood tonight and your poem inspired a quick verse I've recorded for you here. Not good enough to post but I hope a refreshing change to the normal review.

Blown as feathers
upon the air
To float aloft
but always there
Though free,
that restless breeze
caresses leaves
on gentle trees
Never far
though out of sight
love never dims
It's ever bright...

Thank you for your inspiration. Your poem is beautiful!

I knew a restless spirit and he broke my heart, but I learnt so much from him, in the time he allowed me to be part of his life. This poem made me think of him. I guess deep inside I still hope there is a future where he will be part of my life again. Thank you for this heart touching sharing of feelings.

The last line sums it up so well and I think that is beautiful.
