Not sure where this one came from, maybe not enough coffee in me yet...

She floats in my mind slipping on the updrafts of my thoughts

Solid at times yet melting in and out of my field of dreams like little forget me nots

I reach out to her like a drug inspired addict craving a his next fix morphine

I never reach her and always awaken with a sense of need like no mortals seen

She whispers passions verbage to me in the day time when no one else can hear

I feel her touch caressesme on an ocean breeze or a raindrop in the air

She's a virgin of the netherworld send to torment the body and the mind

She's the mother figure desparate to hold  her child just one last timeTo her it so applies that "women is the nigger of the world" as poor John Lennon prophecised

She is the rib of Adam brought forth lovingly by  God to tantalize

She floats in my dreams at night, she is the Goddess of the night.

Everyone has a mother. A Goddess who directs our life. Animals have mothers. The sun is the mother to the earth, warming and comforting all its inhabitants. The earth is the mother to the plants and trees, feeding them and nuturing them. Everything has a mother, with a power we worship and adore. A nice poem to the Goddesses of the world...

Whoa - you don't let us have our concept in the beginning when we get to the end - fascinating, and maybe even worth further exploration? The line with John Lennon throws me, though, his song is actually 'woman is the nigger of the world.' Not sure it fits! (grin) A beautiful read overall.
