Unbearable Pain
By Handsum-Hart

Is bold stepping
Your walk upon this earth
Or with lameness
Does your foot
Strike the pavement of life

Are you gracing the world
With all that you have

Or should the question be
What are you taking
To the grave with you
That you failed
To share with the world

A new type of ballet on your tiptoes
That you never performed for an audience

A world record marathon in your legs
That you never ran

A best selling novel
On your fingertips
That you never wrote

A flaming kiss of passion
Burning on your lips
That you never used
To set your lover on fire with

A formula for world peace in your mind
That you never unveiled

As you lie on your mattress
Before the final beats
Of your tired heart

Will you be in unbearable pain?

Not from the pain in your body
But from the pain in your mind
Knowing that this beauty thing called life
You failed to live, to its fullest

Isn't NOW the time to do all?

There's no better time than now to do something.
I guess I better start dancing now, while I still can.
Thanks for reminding me, Sir Handsum
