Kung Foo Kitty…

Okay I got my stance,

It’s almost like doing a dance,

If I keep staring at my opponent,

I will thereby put him in a trance…

I started when I was but a kitten,

Only a year ago, they made me wear mittens,

With this kung foo stuff I really am smitten,

No longer do I worry from dogs I will be bitten…

I need however to find a sparring companion,

I don’t care where we do it, even in a canyon,

Up to this point I have been sparring with a tree called a banyan,

I have gotten to my brown belt,

Left on my opponents I have many a big welt…

Ed, did you know dogs do kung fu, too? They leave their brown belts on my lawn all the time.

What a cute poem and photo!
I have a big, fat cat named Shadow who is often mistaken for a skunk. I'm sure Kung Foo Kitty could kick his butt. He's a lover not a fighter..LOL!

Thanks for sharing,
Jennifer

Excellent - and I could sure use this little fella as an instructor. Besides the animal baseball team I run, I'm starting a Karate and Kung Fu Animal Martial Arts Institute. When my first class graduates, I'll send them over to see you!

AWWWWWWWWWWWW....Ed....you won my attention...full span with this!
That is my Tippy Ka Nu when he was a kitten. In fact, I even have a
shot of him (now nine years mature) doing the same thing. I may post it on one of my poems soon.
This one goes in my library, Ed.
