My unborn heart is trapped and crying,
my hidden eyes are aching just to see
the dawn,
for my love lies bleeding,
my virgin soul is longing just to be.
My unborn mind is cold and empty,
I pray,
you have the warmth to let me feel
My life, for my joy lies sleeping
with only your love and kindness
to awaken me and make me real.
take all this away from me,
I'm just a child
longing for a chance.
Don't turn your back on me,
I'm a soul worthy of the dance.
Don't forget about me.

I read this once, twice and again and again. My heart has weight that it didn't before. The heaviness attempts to release through tears. It isn't happening Pierre. I taste salt. The levie of these words have found a true place in my thoughts and protected now in my heart.

Soooo true. I started crying when I read this. It is sooo sad to have murders in our mists

Very good, I love the ending especially, "I'm just a child
longing for a chance. Don't turn your back on me,
I'm a soul worthy of the dance. Don't forget about me."(great metaphor).... I love the meaning of the whole poem, Excellent.
