Gas Pedal Boogie…

Heard myself a great dancin’ song,

Had to dance as I was drivin’ too long,

Bounced my foot on the pedal,

Till I did push it to the metal,

The cop did say I danced quite well,

But my drivin’ was all too wrong…

Need do I, at the end of a long day,

To sing, to dance, to otherwise get away,

From drivin’, and puttin’ up with fools,

Heading home from work while drivin’,

What can I say; I sometimes have to break the rules…

Drivin’ at speed is not time to dance,

But sometimes one just has to get out of their trance,

I have to unfortunately take this stance,

Otherwise I will never be able to make it through my day,

I am sure you do understand, at lease I hope you do, by chance…?J

I agree Ed, the dancing should wait at least until their is a stop sign or red light...then you can boogie without recourse...unless of course you sit through the light.
