Its been an odd night, fitful sleeping, can't get comfy, reflux several times, first saturday yesterday at work...I hope this isn't a harbinger of things to come...

Has the cheese finally slid off my cracker…?

Am I nuts?

Am I totally whacked out?

Or am I just short a little bit of cheese?

Has it slid off my cracker, making me more of a whacker…?

I watch the world coming and going,

The tide in the ocean ebbing & flowing,

I watch the children growing and knowing,

But I myself just seem to the line be towing and stowing…

Where do these thoughts come from with me?

My life I cannot figure out this I can truly guarantee,

Of late I have been dreaming of death,

Dear lord hear my most fervent plea,

If I am to die then so be it,

If I am to be crazy, then please just let it be…

It's a sign you're getting older. I find myself dreaming of those days of yore...when things were simpler...I hope I don't start dreaming of dying *cringe*. Especially not on the cruise. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

My dear Eddie M... the mind is everything from a wasteland to a treasure chest. It is what it is... try finding the upside to what appears to be a downside. Enjoy your self. I certainly do! (smile) katy xox

it's not crazy to reflect ... it's only crazy not to attempt to understand our feelings and moods ... at times, things may seems hopeless ... it is then we must search out the warrior in us ...

They come from a thing called conscience and you know every now and again the cheese slips off my crackers too. Darn it but at least Ringo gets a tasty morsel.

The cheese probably has slipped off your cracker - it's very elusive - and it slips off all of our crackers once in awhile.
It ain't easy bein cheesy, you know. But I think you'll be fine, and I think we all dream of death from time to time. Stop and smell the roses, and the cheese will soon return.

Dearest Ed,
It sounds to me like you are a little burnt out friend. You are not nuts (albeit a little nutty sometimes). Please try to get more rest and take care of yourself. I pray that God does not answer this particular prayer and you live on to delight many with the gift of your expression. All the best to you. May life be kind to you.

Sometimes I pray to God to take me sooner...then I think of "Saying Goodbye"...and do some reverse on my prayer!!

Great Big Old Hug to you my Friend!!

Dear Ed,

The harsh truth is that we all have to go sometime Ed, but dreaming about it, is no sign that it will happen any sooner. You are perfectly sane and pretty normal, just learn to relax and you will be fine. Enjoyed your write Ed.

warm hugs
