confounding stasis,

desperate signs
of fear

preventing me
ever moving forward

disparate shattered sky -

a feeling - remorse
deeply running down my spine

brain swells
with fevered septic narcosis

negating any logic
i could apply
to why...

my words no longer seem complete
a guttural moan;

drowned in causation
by crashing waves;
a noisy ocean,
ever to the victor go the spoils
from heated battles

all uncaptured moments
lost to temporal shift

a rift
upon the fabric
of frail dimensionality

for simple tears of empathy
to grieve with thee
and quell
unstoppable rising tides;

but no confining
branches there to stick
and bind

only salty brine
that climbs;
a salient solitary breeze

lifted high

to vacant all-consuming eyes,
aware of only channels
in the grooves of
places lived,
and spaces crawled

bespeaking futures
long since past the hope
of ever being realized

in repeated failed discovery,
floating leaves of dark design
drifting back into a
final fatal disdain

swirling ever faster
down an endless

Inspired title drew me to the poem, and I am anything but
disappointed. You paint the picture almost too well.
". . . aware of only channels
in the grooves of
places lived,
and spaces crawled
into..." Y E S !! {and "Noooooo :_" ...because who among us does not know what it feels like to be at the bottom of the well, emotionally}. Wets my appetite for more of your creations.
Thanks! 'Pea' <3

A romantic fool????

Thanks for the giggle back to you!!

"Everything is funny, as long as itís happening to somebody else."

Like this man woke up this morning...note beside his bed!!

Honey your food is on the table, your shoes polished,,,clothes on the bed..and bathwater ready. I had to go out early needed to buy you some beer!
Man got up and just everything was A ~ Okay.
Sitting down for breakfast son in front of him with a smile upon his face too.
Man ask the boy...what's Up with your mom...just everything is done and in perfect order ..what happenend last night?
Dad you came home at three...pooped as drunk as a lord...and when mom wanted to put you to bed...she wanted to take your pants down...and you yelled...HEY LADY I AM A MARRIED MAN!!

Love Tinka
