Life's Resignation

There can be
nothing so sad
as turning lose the hand
of that one special love,
in death.
Nothing as empty
as going on alone
No reward in heaven or hell
that can equal the joy shared
between 2 lovers in life
no punishment that could rival
the pain of the loss.
There can be
nothing so final
as lifes resignation
of the love they had.
nothing so cold
as the waiting.
No flesh or gold
can ever take the place,
No happiness
can ever fill the space
between 2 separated souls
that long to be together.
There could be
nothing that could ever
make life bearable
for the one left behind.
No solace
except for age
No hope
save their dreams in lonliness
No comfort
save the rain.

Well ive only had a very small taste of love with another....I think I could understand the feeling, If someone I cared about so, would die. But i guess ill have to experiance life as you and april have to understand it fully......Your poem was nicely expressed.

Love you guyz, Cody.

When you love someone the way we love someone. There is no joy in life anymore. No one to share your simple thoughts or dreams with. I know that all the love I have given can never be replaced and I know I'll never be able to love the sameway again if someone like Geronimo died. When you love someone you constantly love them with your all, Your all means there is nothing to live for down the road.
