Short poem

It starts
and as I watch
I find myself wondering
where bits of me I've left behind
long ago have fallen and taken seed.
Time passes
age hiding, creeping,
taunting me around the bend
and everything that doesn't matter to me
seems suddenly to find some arcane purpose in my head.

everything in life is relevant and has an inner meaning if we put an effort into finding it ...

After reading this I remembered a quote from Satchell Paige. He said, "don't look back, something might be gaining on you". I liked how you put this one together, it certainly has more meaning than what is implied on the surface.

Enjoyed,

Jim

Hmm this one does have a real good dose of truth in it.
