Take this Vision from my Sight…

What is it I see there in the darkness of trees?

Eyes looking back at me,

Animals or visions of dreams,

From the very same darkness I do hear screams…

Fearful though I may be,

I still walk amongst the trees,

Worrying more than a little,

Some creature of the night,

Will feast on me and drink of my spittle…

My trusty dog does see as well,

He does growl and bark,

He takes me by the hand with his teeth,

Dragging me from this place of evil,

He knows better than I,

What evil does lurk in that dark eye…

I lock the door against its evil,

It has followed me home,

No matter how I do retreat,

It does keep looking for a treat,

My loyal companion stands at the door growling,

Keeping it at bay till the light does return to our world,

As the evil of night and darkness does shrink from the world of light…

Ah, don't be afraid, Eddie M... it's probably just Little Eddie Kostro, come to pay a visit. Boy, this is right up his alley, I'd say. hehe

In the meantime, just a gentle hint: STAY IN THE HOUSE! Whew.

You had the hair on the back of my neck AND on my head standing up... kinda scary... awfully glad you've got trusty Rufuz and his trusty teeth. Good piece, m'dear. katy xox

I wonder sometimes if what they see is beyond our vision as my dog will get up and growl at something yet mine eye does not behold what he sees. But he is loyal and rarely does it so I trust him and then I pray.
