“Voice From A Distance”

She hear a gloomy voice cry

From a distance yet so near

Could this be a dream or is this for real

As dawn wakes in morning light

Cry stopped

With a silent hush

From above the morning sky

Down came a falling star

Down came a thousand birds

And cover up heavens above

Like a dream

What can this mean?

Did another spirit die

Silenced by a fist

And the pain inside

Does this heart

Ache out of hate or out of fear

Or because

She can still hear…something

Hear the wild birds song?

And did she hear her own cry

Rise from wet grass

As she rises from her knees

Yes this is different and I am proud to say that the judge convicted the man of abusing his wife. Two years probabiton and two years of anger management or else. She has a protective order but went to work as he won't support kids. But he has another day in court. He will not face a real man but there are those of us out there waiting and willing to help.

Been so long since i have seen anything green, I forgot how beautiful it was, everything here is still white and supposed to get even more so the beginning of the week...nice music and a scary dreamy thing, but the picture lends itself to make this a nicer write than maybe you meant...Ed

Boy, everybody's dreaming spooky lately or so it seems from their writings. I'm starting to think Robert the Shaman is on to something. Hmmmmm is all I can say here. You've written a chill. Love the pic.

Powerful ending... It takes courage and strength, to get back up and try again. To never stay down, for rewards which have not yet been seen...

Maybe for once she heard her own voice. And the power, and the strength of it so overwhelmed her that she thought her heart stopped beating. And the knowledge that she had a voice of her own. A voice that she owned, that she could control, that it made the tears rise and her knees were all green, for she was envious of her own voice, its strength and her power over self, the power that is her. ~ Sara
