|I suppose that someday, sometime, in the glorious too distant future, man and woman will come together with the mental attitude of respect and undying, unselfish love for one another. I say that I suppose, but my instinct tells me that day will never come for the vast majority of the human population because, for the most part, when we embark on a love affair we are in it for our own selfish reasons. That said, then the result of both lovers selfish interest is what usually kills the deal. Good poem.|
