I wrote this for a special singer. I hope she and you both like it. It is my first song written for a female.

I been mis-used, abused and screwed
I been lied to, cheated on, treated rude
But I finally found a keeper a real man

In his jeans and boots heís no fancy Dan
He works and sweats from dawn to dusk

Riding hard among the cattle and the dust

A real cowboy from another time and place
Heís been there done that; it shows on his face
Out of step, out of time and ainít got a dime
Purty he ainít but he loves me and heís mine
Heís just a slow walking sweet talking cowboy

He brings me great joy Heís the real McCoy

He loves his ole dog and talks to his horse
He fights only when he ainít got no recourse
He tips his hat to the ladies and callsíem maíam
He talks straight from his heart and gives a damn
His word is his bond and his shake good as gold

Yep when they made him they broke the mold

A real cowboy from another time and place
Heís been there done that; it shows on his face
Out of step, out of time and ainít got a dime
Purty he ainít but he loves me and heís mine
Heís just a slow walking sweet talking cowboy

He brings me great joy Heís the real McCoy

This is wonderful and it sounds like you do indeed have the real McCoy.
