There are times that one can barely creep, let alone walk, but I don't worry as my Father always carries me.

When I’m worn, weary, feeling defiled
He carries me … His forever child.
My hair may turn gray, I’m child at heart.
No one can ever tear us apart.
During the day--in the dark in my life … He’s a part …
more than shares my mis’ry. He’s my Father, you see.
He cares deeply for me.

I age, have wrinkles and chins galore
but He loves me the same as before.
I falter—buckle--under life’s stress.
He lifts me up. In His arms I rest.
When I laugh ... when I cry … He is always nearby.
I trust Him and succumb as a child I become
cherished child of the One.

When troubled, He’s ignites my spirit.
He never wanders … is near it.
He has heard my ev’ry prayer, I know
but sometimes the answers come so slow
I pause, begin to doubt. His light never goes out!
Feel His touch … I’m ALIVE … and faith can only thrive
when you have Him inside.
